FlatRateChat for Wix: an AI chatbot at a flat price
The app is called AI Website Chatbot in the Wix App Market. It reads the pages of your published Wix site and answers visitors from that text only. Free plan with 100 answers a month, or a flat monthly price with no credits and no per-message charges.
Answers from your website, installed from the App Market
Hours, prices, services, policies, directions: if it is written on your site, the chatbot can answer it and link to the page it came from. If it is not, it says so and shows your email, phone or contact page instead of guessing. Each answer is written in the language the visitor used.
Installing from the App Market adds the bubble to every page of your site. There is no code to paste, no API key and no FlatRateChat account to create. Everything lives on the FlatRateChat page in your Wix dashboard. It runs on its own AI, separate from your site’s built-in AI credits.
Three plans, all flat
Every plan is a flat rate. There are no per-message charges and no credits to top up.

Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, are billed through your Wix account (plus applicable tax, if required) and can be cancelled any time from your Wix subscriptions page. Your price stays locked while your subscription stays active. The Basic plan is free for as long as the app is installed; you are never locked out and never lose your settings.
What you get on every plan
- A chat bubble on every page, in your colour, left or right, with your greeting.
- Answers with a link to the page they came from, in the visitor’s language.
- Your email, phone or contact page shown whenever the chatbot does not know.
- A weekly email with the questions it could not answer, so you know what to add to your site.
- A weekly re-read of your site, plus a re-read button for the day you change your prices.
- Your last 100 conversations, kept for 90 days, visible in your Wix dashboard.
How it works
- Install from the App Market. Wix adds the script to every page; we start reading your published pages.
- Open FlatRateChat in your Wix dashboard to pick a colour, greeting and fallback contact. We pre-fill the contact details we found on your site; you confirm or edit them.
- Visit your published site and ask it something your pages answer.
In the Wix editor and in site preview the bubble shows but does not answer, so test clicks are never counted. If your site shows a cookie banner, the chat loads after visitors accept functional cookies. Where it is not the right fit
FlatRateChat answers questions from your website. It does not do live chat with a human agent, WhatsApp or Messenger, lead-capture forms, bookings or order tracking. Questions
Does it work with a custom domain?
Yes. It works on your published site, whether that is on your custom domain or your wixsite.com address.
What languages does it answer in?
It answers in the language each visitor writes in, using the text of your pages. Your pages can be in any language.
Does it use my site’s built-in AI credits?
No. It runs on its own AI, separate from the AI credits that come with your Wix plan. Your plan with FlatRateChat is the only thing it counts against.
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Your website text is used only to answer questions on your own site.
What happens when the free plan’s 100 answers are used up?
The bubble stays on your site and shows your contact details until the 1st of the next month. Nothing is charged, nothing changes on your site, and your settings are kept.
How are the paid plans billed?
Through your Wix account, plus applicable tax if required. Starter is $19 a month ($15 a month billed yearly); Full is $59 a month ($49 a month billed yearly). Both start with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel any time from your Wix subscriptions page.
What happens if I uninstall?
The bubble disappears immediately and your website text, indexes and conversations are deleted right away. Thirty days later we anonymise the account email. The details are in our privacy policy.
